Trinity County game wardens recover body from Lake Livingston

TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - A body of 23-year-old man was recovered at the north end of Lake Livingston on Sunday.

Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace has identified him at Josh Owens of Groveton.

Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden Randy Watts said Owens was reported missing since Saturday after he went fishing at the bank.

Watts said Owens was found at 3 p.m. at the intersection of FM 355 and 356.

Wallace said they do not suspect any foul play, but because it is an unattended death, an autopsy has been ordered.
